Who We Are
Although our name is fairly simple and the best way to describe our product is a “TV” on top of a gas pump, we’re so much more.
Petro TV is a full service, digital out-of-home advertising network. We operate a digital signage network of over 1,000 screens at over 200 locations in 6 markets throughout the United States. Through our local and national partners, we show news, weather, entertainment, advertisements and community info to a captive, on-the-go consumer via daylight readable LCD screens mounted on top of gas pumps.
Management
Ethan J Cheramie – CEO
Mr. Cheramie serves as Chief Executive Officer of Petro TV. Mr. Cheramie is an attorney licensed to practice law in the state of Louisiana. Prior to founding Petro TV in 2005, he was employed as an investment banker and private client advisor with UBS Financial Services. Mr. Cheramie also advised and served as general counsel to American Steamboat Company in its attempted leveraged buyout of American Classic Voyages (AMCV). He has served in various capacities with other Louisiana based startups and is a member of several civic associations. Mr. Cheramie holds a BS in International Trade & Finance from Louisiana Sate University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a JD from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana.
David J Plaisance – President & COO
David Plaisance is the President and Chief Operating Officer for Petro TV. Mr. Plaisance graduated with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. He started his career working for 3 years as a programmer and systems administrator for multiple companies in southern Louisiana. Mr. Plaisance then spent two years as the Information Systems Manager for an offshore service company. He was responsible for all general office, computer, and accounting functions. In 2000 Mr. Plaisance moved to Baton Rouge and took a programmer analyst position with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of LA. For seven years he supported multiple technology and business intelligence implementations for several departments. Mr. Plaisance joined Petro TV in early 2007. Since then, he has overseen the company’s shift to new technology as well as the doubling of the Petro TV network in two new markets in two different states.
Max Ferrera – Vice President & General Sales Manager
Marc Winston – Chairman of the Board
Mr. Winston brings over 28 years of outdoor and transit advertising experience to the team. Mr. Winston is the founder and principal of Marco Outdoor Advertising, an outdoor, out-of-home billboard advertising company based in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is also the President and owner of Elliot Media Company, a small outdoor advertising company in New York and the Metroscan Traffic Network, which provides traffic information to New Orleans area radio and television stations. Prior to this, Mr. Winston served as President and principal of TDI (Transportation Displays Inc.) in New York. TDI was the world’s largest transit advertising company with over 100 transit franchises and 30 offices coast to coast. He is past Chairman of the Transit Advertising Association and former Board Member of the Advertising Council. He currently serves on the board of the Isidore Newman School in New Orleans. Mr. Winston is a graduate of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. He received his Masters Degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
